MSR pays for most of the premium Yearly raises are given to employees. Most of the time it's 3% or 3.5% per year. Salary is very transparent. Salary is based on how many years ago you graduated. Sick time always rolls over to the next year Radiologists are generally easy to work with Fully vested in 6 years. Cross training is available
Cons
Bad for family health insurance. Company doesn't contribute money towards premium for spouses or children They don't contribute towards vision or dental insurance. It's available but you're paying the premium entirely There's a lot of burn out with amount of patients. We get 8 sick days per year yet we get frowned upon for using sick time. We only get 3 weeks of vacation per year and they don't roll over. Most places offer 4 weeks of vacation. Vacation days are reserved based on seniority. Management has done plenty of unethical things. Unreasonable amount of patients get scheduled causing frequent burn out.
