Engineering teams frequently operate in silos, limiting knowledge sharing and reducing cross-team collaboration. Frequent layoffs and continual restructuring create instability without delivering measurable improvements. A lack of incentives, recognition, or clear rewards has led to decreased motivation and engagement, as effort does not meaningfully translate into personal or professional payoff.
