Pros

Smart use of Profit Sword NYC Revenue Management Group HR VP in Home Office

Cons

So blatantly anti union/worker, group tends to hire workers not through E Verify so they cannot complain about minimum wage pay which is 50% less than NYC rates. The absolute worst employee health care program in the industry. $500 per month for a family of 4 earning $2500 per month gross pay before taxes. Culture of incompetent executive leadership promoted way too quickly who are ill prepared. Culture of toxic in house NY Legal and Housekeeping Duo who threaten and cajole staff to prevent them from organizing and getting fair pay. Lack of following NYC Fire and Life Safety Requirements Changed NYC Management Arm to Bridgeview Hospitality Group to avoid potential employee and legal issues.

Pros

The good thing about working here was realizing the type of company I would like to avoid in my next job. It only gets better from here.

Cons

Heads up to anyone considering working here: * It’s an open office setup—you’ll need to “prove yourself” for years before even being considered for a private office. * The salary may seem decent at first, but it doesn’t match the workload. Expect frequent overtime and weekend work. * Most of your team will be fully remote, yet you’ll be required to be in-office—often being trained by people who aren’t even physically there. * Work-life balance is a major issue. You’ll likely be expected to work during vacations due to constant deadlines and excessive tracking systems. There was even a time when employees couldn’t take PTO until after a full year—that alone says a lot. * The environment feels heavily micromanaged. Concerns raised by the team haven’t led to improvements—just more tracking and oversight. * Turnover is high, which speaks for itself.
