Cons
I came in as a former employee of a related company- at the place it was same people, but different name. I had an automobile accident- a concussion and needed to get a form filled in, when I came in the main supervisor told me she can't help me because I have not been working there for a long time (less than a year actually). I asked her where I can get the papers filled out and she sent me to Denver Colorado. Basically she told me to bugger off in a very polite but rude way. I had no money to pay for rent and I was in no condition to work. My livelihood depended upon that piece of paper. Every company has to fill out these forms if a former employee is in medical trouble and can't work for a while. I came back into the office and I was told that I should not be hanging out there and that she will call security. She refused to talk to me in a normal way and was talking in an elevated and harsh voice. She was telling me that security would gladly take me away by force if I do not leave. I felt like she wanted to see me get violently dragged off by the hair. I have a concussion. I told her this. On my way back my head was spinning and I vomited 4 times on the subway due to the subway shaking, too many people walking around, feeling confused and dazed, and on top of that emotional distress from being told off so rudely. I am not even going to mention the covert abuse I went through and saw others go through in this company. I will mention though: Employees are highly highly disposable The health of employees is butchered from standing on the spot for long periods getting paid minimum wage basically and dealing with constant stressful confrontations with management.
