Pros

The kids are very cute and fun

Cons

They will actually take money from you if you are late, no show, or do something that they think is wrong. They take more money than the class is worth. The communication is terrible. They will not answer your questions for weeks. They are extremely nitpicky and made me so nervous that it was hard to teach. While I was doing my first demo, they sent messages saying, "We are here watching you". After I taught a class with all positive evaluations from parents, they told me I muted too much and did not have enough energy. I opened up my availability but I did not teach any classes for 2 weeks because no one was available to give me feedback. I was available for feedback on 4 different occasions and was told that I was going to receive a call. They never followed through on their promises. I spent valuable time taking a noise workshop (which is actually their issue with the platform). They are also extremely unprofessional with comments like, "kind of busy during teaching hours lol"

Dear teacher, we are truly sorry that we made you feel like this. We value every single teacher who works for us and we are always open to your suggestions. If during the time you are teaching with us we made the deduction that was not right according to our contract, please kindly send us an email with a proof and we will carefully check for you and compensate if needed. And we sincerely apologize for the lacking of communication and the tech issue you had with our platform.

Pros

Pay is pretty good if you can commit to enough hours to earn bonuses

Cons

hours are Beijing time, so very early morning in the US They have switched to homeroom classes, so you can't just open your schedule on days you are available and get scheduled, which was what made this attractive before as a filler for when other jobs weren't as active
