Pros

-Coworkers are very supportive, it is a very accepting and close knit community. -Good communication with sales employees at other stores. -A real dedication to excellent customer service, but they protect their employees from abusive customers. -Pretty comprehensive benefits.

Cons

-Both upper management and the store managers can be very bi-polar in responses. Sometimes they are extremely supportive, other times they are overcome with panic about falling sales and take it out on the store staff, when they are already working at 200% due to being short staffed. -There is a noticeable tension among office staff that spills over into the stores. -Rather than hiring people to fill positions when employees leave, they will push the responsibility onto another employee and reprimand them for not successfully juggling two or three jobs for the wage of one.

Pros

I loved working at MBeans and I look back at my time with the company with joy. The management team was empathetic, and deeply cared about every employee as people. There was great camaraderie and a drive to be successful, which I really appreciated.

Cons

Lots of time on your feet - get good shoes!

Pros

Full-access to company material and information. This gives a hands-on approach to making reports, preparing financial statements, and organizing information. You can always ask questions by G-Chat or dial an extension to get a more detailed answer. It is fun to work around toys and being able to purchase them too at a great discount!

Cons

Evaluate yourself on a regular basis and keep track of your daily work flow and job expectations. You won't get a review or feedback which can be frustrating, so make sure to address your concerns as they come up.
