Pros

Unlimited PTO Nice office space

Cons

At a company level, the training program is lengthy but lacks practical preparation for the realities of the role. Employees remain on a very low base salary for months in “training,” yet when placed on a team are expected to perform at full capacity with minimal hands-on support. Asking questions or requesting additional guidance can feel discouraged rather than welcomed. The culture often feels fear-based. Performance conversations are frequently framed around job security rather than development. Feedback does not seem to be genuinely encouraged, and after an employee who had previously expressed concerns about management was let go for “attitude,” leadership framed the redistribution of their accounts as being “like getting a raise” for the rest of the team. Regardless of intent, this created a chilling effect and reinforced the perception that speaking up may carry professional risk. From a business perspective, there is a strong message about helping small businesses grow, but the execution does not always align with that mission. Many deliverables rely heavily on AI-generated content while clients are charged premium rates. Account oversight can be minimal, and when performance suffers, responsibility tends to fall heavily on client-facing managers rather than prompting systemic improvements. Leadership visibility and responsiveness are inconsistent. Questions can go unanswered, and direction is often delivered without constructive coaching. This leaves teams feeling unsupported and uncertain. Public criticism, including reviews, appears to be dismissed rather than reflected on. I genuinely hope leadership takes employee concerns seriously and works toward meaningful cultural and operational change.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the unlimited PTO and the office environment. We take training and development seriously and design our onboarding to provide a strong foundation for the work we do for small businesses. That said, we are always refining our training to ensure it better prepares team members for the realities of the role and provides the support they need as they transition to their teams. We also want to be clear that questions and feedback are encouraged at Madwire. Our goal is to build a culture of learning, accountability, and growth — not fear. When concerns are raised, they are meant to help us improve as a company. Finally, our mission remains helping small businesses grow. We do leverage modern technology, including AI, to improve efficiency and outcomes, but it is a tool that supports our team’s expertise, not a replacement for thoughtful strategy or quality work. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you the best moving forward.

Pros

Cutting-Edge Tech: The company is genuinely dedicated to staying on the frontier of technology, ensuring you are always working with the best tools and forward-thinking tech. Amazing Work Culture: The environment is incredibly supportive and collaborative—it's a place where you actually enjoy showing up every day. Uncapped Commission: The earning potential is exactly what salespeople look for. Hard work is directly rewarded with an uncapped commission structure. Fulfilling Work: The projects and day-to-day tasks helping small businesses grow feel meaningful, making it easy to stay motivated and proud of what you do.

Cons

Commission Ramp-Up Time: It takes a little bit of time for commissions to start building up initially, so you need to be prepared for a ramp-up period when you first start. Account Distribution Pace: Although Management tries its best to accommodate your needs, you can't control the pace at which you receive new accounts, which means your pipeline can sometimes feel out of your hands.

Pros

I truly love my job here at Madwire. The culture at Madwire is excellent, and they really do prioritize ensuring you feel cared for and supported, not just professionally but also relationally. The leadership in the Marketing Success Manager department is filled with highly experienced marketing professionals who provide a wealth of wisdom and knowledge from business leadership, development, psychology, and marketing. Madwire truly is at the cutting edge of marketing, continually striving to bring new product offerings to clients while staying competitive in the industry. In this job, I have been continuously pushed to grow and improve myself in many ways, and am better because of it. I'm extremely thankful for this job and can see myself staying here for the foreseeable future.

Cons

This job is hard. It's extremely fast-paced and requires a high degree of organization, grit, and dedication to find success. For me, I thrive being pushed and spurred on to be the best version of myself, but the taxing nature of this job is not for everyone. You will learn so much about marketing, business, psychology, etc. but you will feel overwhelmed at times.
