Pros

Good benefits, great people in Ops who are dedicated and work hard

Cons

Terrible leadership, the CEO is fake and dishonest. Sold the company to line his pocket. Laid off people and did not even bother to apologise showing no remorse whatsoever. The whole leadership team does not show any accountability. They sneakily cancelled the bonuses of the non-commissioned members. Mind you, the bonus scheme for most of us is a joke, except for the Sales reps and obviously the C-level members, but of course not cuts there! Some bad decisions on the products side. They seem to only focus on enhancements that do not benefit anyone. We seem to like to partner with dodgy "partners" who deliver fake leads. A massive dip in quality that will only impact the business moving forward. Career opportunities - While they pride themselves in promoting within, I have seen alot of undeserved promotions. You need to wait in line if you want to grow and not because of merit. They don't like to fire underperformers either!

Thank you for your feedback - we are disappointed to hear about your negative perception of the business operations and leadership team! With regards to bonuses, we believe you may have been misinformed because annual bonuses for non-commissioned team members have never been cancelled. Annual bonuses are based 50% on individual performance and 50% on company performance. These were paid as usual in 2023 for 2022 achievement. In additional to individual performance bonus, ML offered additional 'stretch' bonuses in 2022 which were based solely on company performance. 4 were based on quarterly revenue achievement and one was based on annual revenue achievement. We provided transparency into the revenue figures that would unlock each bonus and progress towards goals was covered each month during the All-Hands. There should not have been any element of surprise - In quarters where the stretch goal was achieved, the bonus was paid. In quarters where the stretch goal was not achieved, it was not paid. Typically team members have the ability to earn a bonus equivalent to 5% to 10% of their base salary dependent upon job level. Unlike most employers, all non-commissioned permanent full-time team members are eligible for an annual bonus, including team members paid on an hourly basis! Our product enhancements originate with clients suggestions and internal feedback. If you have specific feedback to share, please reach out to a member of the Product Team. Our partner network is robust and our leads undergo a robust validation process to ensure that they are viable, quality leads. Again, if you are receiving client complaints about leads, please reach out to our Partner Operations team so that we can look into the particulars of the complaint. Finally, with regards to career progression and employment of under-performers, we do have a regular review process in place to ensure that we reward high performing team-members and take corrective action with under-performers. However, please keep in mind that corrective actions are not shared with the broader team. Just as you would not want us to share your performance with the broader team, we respect the privacy of all of our team members! Again, thank you for your feedback and if you have additional feedback you would like to share, please feel free to submit it to our internal suggestion box or in a question format to our monthly anonymous Q and A.

Pros

I was given many opportunities to learn and grow, and felt that my contributions were always working toward a goal larger than myself. We were rewarded/recognized at the beginning. Co-Workers were all amazing as teamwork thrived for our clients. Work-life balance was very good while working remotely.

Cons

Clear communication never came from leadership about the state of the company and our growth, or lack thereof. I felt I was pouring spoonfuls of water out of a sinking ship throughout my final year with the company. Hard work became less rewarded/recognized.

Pros

Amazing people on the Customer Success and Ad Operations teams that truly want to see the best out of you and watch you succeed. I learned so much from my time here and I’m grateful for that. Solid benefits and PTO plan.

Cons

The company is not at all what it used to be. Leadership has no idea what the crux of the issues we face are and instead micromanage us constantly. It’s less about the quality of the work and more about getting dollars in to temporarily keep us afloat. Constant product issues make it difficult to get work done and there is no clear value proposition anymore. Layoffs are now a norm here, including quietly laying off team members throughout the year.
