Avoid at all costs graduates - Sales Development Representative Maddox Events Employee Review

Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry to hear that you did not had a positive experience with Maddox Events. I do feel that it is important to point out that you have not worked at the organisation but attended one of our Graduate Assessment Days. I do understand that you are frustrated not to have been selected for the role however the standard of candidates was extremely high on the day. I am glad that you enjoyed the free coffee and snacks that we put on for the candidates throughout the recruitment process. You mention in your review that one of the disadvantages of working at Maddox Events is long hours. In response to this I can confirm that we work normal office hours from Monday to Thursday (09:00-17:30) and we finish early on Fridays at 16:00. I would not classify this as long hours. We actually work less hours than most organisations in the UK. You also mention unpaid shifts in your review. I would point out that all staff members at Maddox are on full time permanent salaried contracts and therefore there are no unpaid shifts. The owners of the company are certainly not greedy. Here at Maddox Events we pay higher than the London average for similar roles. The owners of the organisation care deeply about the welfare of their employees and have introduced various employee benefits such as working from home on Fridays. The description of the job role that you describe is not an accurate reflection in my opinion. Here at Maddox we have a proven track record of promoting employees internally and we also develop each employee via external and internal training alongside personal development plans. Once again I am sorry that you were unhappy with the Graduate Assessment Day however your review of the company in my view is not accurate considering that you have never worked here.
