Pros
It's a local job in transportation that's a fast-hire. They're so desperate they take anybody immediately. There's a lot of room for advancement here.
Cons
Three weeks of training at minimum wage, then barely more after training. They say in training not to talk about wages, which doesn't make any sense. Pay is a Union issue and the company saying not to discuss a Union issue is strong evidence that they aren't paying fairly. Daily harassment of operators by dispatchers about the DOT physical card. If you drive for this company, you have to be prepared for the daily dose of harassment starting your day. This is a motley crew of underpaid workers. Don't look for any kind of professionalism. Complete lack of diversity. They have cute little graphics that "Diversity makes us great" but they don't seem to understand what diversity is. They also have cute little graphics about being a bully-free zone, but they don't understand that harassment is a form of bullying and the daily, policy-driven harassment of operators for their DOT cards is a form of policy-driven bullying.
