There is no opportunity for growth unless you are one of the preferred ones. These preferred employees are not even performing. Workers are bullied by these ones and/or are asked to complete the work to pick up the slack. Even if you manage to do this successfully, this organization does not value your contribution. You are automatically deemed average each year for your performance regardless of what you delivered. If you ever get a reduced annual bonus one year, you will NEVER see a decent one again even if you receive the highest performance evaluation because the program is incorrectly designed.
Management is only concerned about their own careers and not the organization’s success. So many politics here vs real work place challenges to work on. You will spend most of your day in “meetings to nowhere” just so that someone can show their manager they had a meeting.
This organization is driven and managed by white males. Don’t believe the “we embrace diversity” message they put out there. The CEO immediately published a message showing his sensitivity to what the nation is protesting regarding treatment of people of color because it’s the politically correct thing to do right now. But until this organization clearly displays fair treatment of women (there are a few token women they seem to honor for PR purposes), qualified non-whites (there are many qualified employees) in positions of senior leadership, equal pay for the job done(there is a huge disparity of pay for same positions), these type of messages are mere lip service and conveys lack of sincerity.
Do your best to avoid coming here if you can. Or if you opt to work here, do it for the short term.
