Pros

I started at this firm in 2006 as a part-time paralegal and this greatly encouraged me to pursue a career in Law after good training and encouragement from management. I returned after graduating and gaining some experience in my chosen carer in 2014. Having worked at the company for a further 2 years I must say that it has been a great experience, hard work and dedication is rewarded and I was able to progress quickly from a Paralegal role to Team manager, I was given extensive management training which assisted me greatly in my role and will aid me in the future. The partners of the firm are very keen to listen and take your suggestions on board with positive outcomes. The social life is fantastic and you really feel that you are a part of a small family here with regular team events and a summer and winter party. Although I will be making a permanent move abroad in September to Dubai, I am very sad to say goodbye to the firm, the clients and all of my colleagues, I have made lifelong friends here and am very grateful for all of the knowledge and experience I have gained whilst working at MTA Solicitors.

Cons

No Gym or shower facilities It would nice to have a television with cup to date news broadcasts and current legislation Temptingly close proximity to Wetherspoons

Pros

Made a few friends. Made me appreciate each and every other one of my jobs, past, present and future for never being as horrible, toxic or demoralising as this place. 1 Star out of 5 is far too generous frankly. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Cons

Foul working atmosphere - toxic would be a better word. Was forced to quit after it became untenable. A lot of backstabbing - if you take a job there, I suggest you watch your back. Targets were very hard to reach and when they were exceeded, tiny incentives given as a reward. Targets expected to be hit each and every week, regardless of if you had been there for 1 week or 10 years, which is unrealistic given that you enter the job as a graduate and are expected to learn the complexities of credit hire in an instant and no assistance or guidance is given.
