Pros

central location on the highway I am home but 5:15 leave on time and get home early is a advantage anyway for sure I know people have longer commutes

Cons

the owner found boss president or whatever he fancies himself is out of touch and clearly an egomaniac unreasonable dated product doesn't do the job so they become unreasonable and impolite no kindness or class here stay away

Pros

As a top performer on one of the sales teams, this was a very enjoyable job. The people on my team were great, as was my Sales Manager. There was a good amount of travel and a lot a lot of freedom if you could close a lot of deals.

Cons

Very limited income potential. The stated commission rate of 7.5% is actually 6% as the company takes a 15% "administrative fee" off the top, prior to paying commission. There is no appreciation for great sales people. Management allows deadweight to stay employed, and performers are paid the same as non-performers. The base salary is well below market for an experienced hunter/closer. It is very easy to find far better base salary if you're a proven performer. There is no room for career growth. All of the top management roles are filled by people who are content in their roles and there is no ladder to climb due to these glass ceilings. For the average employee, there is a lot of micromanaging (clocking in and out for all employees via TimeForce) and there is an expectation of being at your desk at all times unless you've booked out in the system and have authorization. Appreciation comes in the form of praise, not comp.
