      Pros

      Some friendly people who have progressive views and goals.

      Cons

      A very backwards, outdated district. They care more about micromanaging instead of creating change and moving students forward as 21st century learners. Just like most of Maine, very behind the times (think decades) and very resistant to change. Low pay; benefits are far less than other comparable districts.

      Super Flexible, Great Culture, Lots of time off, Good per-diem pay

      Lots of unpaid vacations, not much to do often

      Pros

      Great supportive principal at Dunn School (grades 3/4). I taught in several buildings at various levels, and Dunn School was by far the best/most professional environment.

      Cons

      Many faculty meetings/required PLC meetings were a waste of teachers' valuable time. In my experience, some teachers were not open to collaboration or new ideas at all.
