Pros

Health benefits Foot in the door for future sales jobs Hours in the field Great contract/billing/tech staff. It's amazing the time they put in to support us sales people.

Cons

- Culture and diversity is absent. Conversation topics are bland, mainly focused on sports and how many dials you made every week. - Certain managers became managers because of seniority, not because of their skills which really affects the growth, success and incentive for sales people to stay. If you have a manager that may be: inexperienced, too focused on # of dials you made, doesn't give you strategic advice on how to win sales, doesn't celebrate your wins.... you're pretty much SOL and it will impact your commission and your learning curve. You'll reach a plateau where you'll debate whether or not you should stay and 'survive' and have your professional skills be stunted, or go elsewhere to exercise your skills and get the resource you need to learn to succeed.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your review. MRC’s goals align with much of your feedback, and we have been working to develop and hire strong, diverse managers who can nurture and develop our sales staff. In addition, we are working to implement new processes for career pathing and milestones in our Sales department to ensure continued career growth and success. However, the work does have to come from the sales reps. Our goal is to help you figure out how to get there! Given the competitive nature of sales, especially in our industry, it's common for people with a passion for winning in sales to also have a passion for sports. For many, those discussions provide a positive energy they can leverage in their work. Lastly, our sales process is tried and true and implemented nation-wide among our sister companies. But that does not mean we can’t make upgrades, which our management and training team are constantly working to upgrade. For anyone who has good ideas on ways MRC can upgrade the process to better connect with prospective clients and win business, we are always open to innovative suggestions! Great leadership, and phenomenal training. IF you want to get good at sales cut your teeth here for 2-3 years.

Cons

Long hours. Lots of rejection
