This company SCAMMED me. Be WARNED! - Communications Specialist MORI Associates Employee Review

Pros

Nothing good about being lied to.

Cons

Mori Associates lied to their employees during the contract transition at NASA and made it seem like my job was not at risk. They told me that my position was secured so I left a stable job to work with them. Unfortunately, two months after I got there they let me go for NO reason and without warning. HR said since Texas is at-will they can do what they want. I was only there for two months, I'm still in training. What kind of company play with people's lives like this? I was saving up for a new apartment and now I'm on a tight budget because I lost my job. I'm so confused on why they hired me from the beginning. Do NOT leave a stable job for these people. They might let you down in the worst way.

Pros

NASA project was interesting Remote work

Cons

Management retaliates against those who document issues Technical leadership lacks basic competency Verbal termination reason contradicted written reason (red flag) Demanded deletion of all communications upon exit (evidence destruction?) Zero prior warnings before termination Ignored repeated concerns about impossible workload Hostile environment for those who push back They also messed up my tax registration in Washington State.
