Cons
Low pay. Some dinosaurs in your work area are at the top of the pecking order due to time in that post. If managed by a military officer , sometimes they dont fully understand you are a civilian employee not their junior ranks. Unproductive and lazy staff ofetn unchallenged. Inconsistancy in the way you are managed depending on where you are. Strangly , not very understanding of Civil Servants who are in the Reserve forces.
