Pros

Casual work attire, free lunch, good location

Cons

During the interview, the owner was extremely rude and condescending. This should have been a red flag. I believed I wouldn't be working directly with him so I let it slide. I was very wrong. He is sometimes overly involved to the point of micromanaging. Not only that, there is no trust and you have this underlying fear that you could be fired at any time for something small. They don't build employee confidence. Huge lack of communication and a lot of shady business going on. While they pay for you to get certified with Salesforce, its because they need to have a number of certified employees to be a Silver Partner on the AppExchange. Once an employee became certified, and they got what they needed, they would let you go.

It sounds like you worked here when our former COO was in charge. He definitely had a different way of running things. Fortunately, he left in May 2015. Since then, we've undergone a major overhaul and thrown out all of his policies and procedures. The result is a healthier workplace and better morale. As a former member of the team, you're always welcome to stop by and say hi and see how things have improved. Terrific commitment to employees, culture, and community. Best place I've ever worked, hands down.

Pros

Lunch 3 days a week is a nice offer. As is the gated parking available to employees.

Cons

Within 9 months, 11 employees left (either laid off or left). There were a total of 16 employees at MK Partners. All 11 employees had expressed dissatisfaction during their time working there. The environment is unfriendly and unstable. Workflow is disorganized and training is completely obsolete. Its a sink or swim. They offer snacks, which are monitored by management. The pay is ok but if you want a raise, don't expect much. Lunch breaks are strictly monitored as are breaks. Expect to not go over the minute. Also, management is constantly eavesdropping on your conversations.
