Pros
None. Well that's not true, there are small pockets of knowledge and intelligence across the company, but they have been smart enough to insulate themselves from senior and executive management so they just do there own thing. I think they are let do this because; 1, it brings in money; & 2, senior and executive management don't understand what they are doing, so to save looking like the fools they are they just stay away (except when there is a free meal)
Cons
Management have an inner circle. If you question the inner circle you will be shut down and shut out. They have no care for you as an employee, although they will email you and tell you verbally to your face that you have the skills they need in the company, and as soon as you make a proposal to bid for some work they say that it 'Isn't in their wheelhouse". Leaves you wonder why they actually hired you. The new yearly pay review is now linked directly to your charge-ability, so if you have any 'bench time' don't expect a raise, and they'll tell you that's not how it works, but it does. They significantly underpay, and overwork. The company is run from the UK and it would seem that ex-pats are the way they keep it 'in-house' sadly the people they have put in some positions have no management skills, or even social skills.
