      Pros

      The benefits are good and the people are helpful. The overall culture is friendly and the work environment is relaxed and far from being stressful.

      Cons

      There is a lot of waste of resources, which is quite a big issue as MEDA is involved in development projects in many parts of the world. Projects that could be completed in a much less budget are given way too many resources, most of which is not fully utilised, and is thereby allocated to trivialities.

      Everyone employee respects their colleagues’ time. A fantastic mission for the organization Pretty competitive salaries for the non-profit sector

      Cons

      I love the job and and the org and will probably stay here until I retire.

      Pros

      High quality program design, friendly real humans as colleagues, good employee policies. Although the organization has Mennonite roots, it hires and has programs for everyone, regardless of religious belief.

      Cons

      Sometimes processes for project operations are not as clear and formalized as they could be.
