Pros
I had the pleasure of being at MEC for slightly over 2 years and what struck me most was not the high-performance orientation of the team, or the meritocratic approach to growth and exposure, or even the extremely flat structure of the team. It is that the team truly lives by the values it espouses. A fish and a bird can truly co-exist and thrive in this place. MEC has a high bar for talent (almost painfully so) and that reflected in the quality of colleagues I had a chance to work with. Sidharth (founder and chief-analyst) is almost a fanatic for pushing his team to learn and grow at a fast pace + quality delivery to the firm's clients.
Cons
Being a small team, there are several hats that one has to wear at the team. Most of the times it is a great learning experience but sometimes it can become overwhelming when you are managing multiple responsibilities - with none being lower priority than the other.
