Pros
The team is awesome. Everyone was fun to work and goof around with. The hours are weird and the work is VERY physically engaging so be prepared to do a lot of lifting, moving, bending, etc. If you enjoy team-based jobs, this job will work well for you. If you're willing to help with whatever, whenever, you will have much upward mobility in what you do at MDM. They will teach you whatever you learn but make sure you get in those class/test times when they are available.
Cons
There isn't much of a chain-of-command as everyone does everything for the most part. The few trustworthy people that everyone goes to with questions tend to be very stressed out due to management or sales reps. Many times, the crew is skeletal. Event setups/strikes are often scheduled within incredibly tight time-constraints and many times, you are waiting for other vendors to finish with their work before you are able to finish your work. If there are crew members that are less proactive, it does get stressful and tiring after a whole day of trying to get things moving along. Much of the team was very precarious when putting equipment away which increased stress levels for those that would pack/unpack shows. Don't expect to have much of a social life if you plan to work here full-time. Weekends were non-existent when I worked here. Testing to move upwards was a bit of a pain as they were always group tests.
