Pros

Great opportunity with many perks. Many opportunities to shine both in the office and on-site during conferences. Travel..travel..travel! Conferences are held at high end resorts and coordinators get to enjoy the amenities when not working the conference. This is a high energy company with terrific people to team and partner with in the office as well as vendors and clients. Full stocked lunchroom, lunch provided many days, gourmet coffee, tea and delicious snacks. Manager/owner is very generous with both salary and gifts. Many team building events and management has an open door policy. A very productive working environment. Very rewarding and lots of recognition from management. Management is strong and very successful. Office atmosphere is warm, friendly and casual. A great place to work.

Cons

This is a fast paced business. You will wear many hats and work together as a team. If you are not a "multi-tasker" this is not a good fit for you. While your position is defined and you manage your "part", you need to be flexible and work along with your office mates to ensure all events/conferences are smooth and successful. Again, high energy so its important that you are fresh and ready to give it your all, each day. Happy, driven and detail oriented employees will fit in very well.

Pros

I worked with the founder of the company for many years. She went above and beyond with her employees to offer opportunity, encouragement, training, support in times of need and to give back. She retained all qualified and loyal employees presently employed by new ownership.

Cons

She tried too hard with individual members to overcome their performance problems. Unfortunately there are potential negative consequences of retaining a poor performer.

Helped with reservations and enjoyed working at the conferences since the destinations were nationwide.

Cons

Didn't have much room for growth.
