Pros
- The Marbaloo office is beautiful, tons of great light, beautiful floors, the snacks are always stocked, and there's plenty of coffee and great lunch places nearby. - Marbaloo works with high profile big name clients, and it's great experience if you can stick around. - Marbaloo is small, leaving for a lot of potential mobility if you can stick it out. - Marbaloo takes 1 week for thanksgiving and 3 weeks for Christmas "off". Cons
- As an employee of Marbaloo, expect to be on call 24/7 and to always have a laptop or phone on you, especially in the community developer position. - The workload at Marbaloo is extremely heavy. Expect to receive more than 100 emails a day. Never expect to get everything done that needs to get done. - Expect to work about 60-80 hours every week. Office hours of Marbaloo are 9am - 7pm, then add an additional hour or two every evening, and lastly 4-6 hours over the weekend. - With the high profile clients, there is very little room for error, and understandably little flexibility from management when errors are made. - While Marbaloo says that they take a week of for Thanksgiving and 3 for Christmas, it is relatively misleading. During these weeks off, you are expected to do the same amount of work that you normally do, simply from home. It is lighter over holidays than usual, but expect to do 40-50 hours of work a week.
