There is a lot of travel

I guess working 14 hours days helps making a bigger check. Yes, 8-8 onsite but another hour or two doing docs at the hotel.

Shared rental cars, no space with others on the road. Much more labor than you'd expect. Contractor rate looks nice but they'll try to lowball you when it comes to salary.
