Based in Solihull town centre and commuting to the office via train is straightforward. Little to no over time.
Cons
Principal lack an interest in any projects unless it’s a fancy doodle to get potential clients onboard knowing that the scheme will be unaffordable to them. When projects hit the fan the principal points fingers to the junior staff members, filling knowing well that they are not experienced enough and will make mistakes. Associate who is part 2 qualified only, procrastinate a lot and does not support the junior staff when most needed and backs off any real responsibility. Company culture is not good and as it is a family fun business, family without architectural knowledge gets involved. No music to be played out load and company do not want to invest in a commercial music license and is considered a distraction. Dead office environment and senior staff member are too nosey and will use this information against you. Limited staff and client parking and does not want to invest in one more parking space to keep staff happy. No benefits/bonus and minimum pension contribution. Highly unorganised company which is not good especially when project managing. No company growth, high turnover of staff and no proper business structure.
