Pros

Great culture - they really promote mental wellbeing. The office is lovely and comes with lots of distractions to help with plugging out from work sometimes, like some ping pong or video games. That's a nice touch. The working culture is relaxed, with not too much strain required from the engineers. You get to work with lots of cool tech, and the people are really lovely and friendly. You can really get stuck in interesting projects here, lots of room for growth. A very transparent company, with regular financial reports and other reports on how staff are feeling and how well (or not!) the company is doing.

Cons

They are a scale up and it shows. The code quality in places is abysmal, with the writers being people who have left years ago. I actually felt I was writing better code at my previous position - I don't like their tech stack (Django) as it's a little forceful and inelegant in my opinion. They have reorgs quite often and spouts of firing people. C suite often change their mind on priorities which makes people feel unmotivated after the thing they've been working on for 6 months is cancelled.
