Middle-management in many areas are not good mentors or leaders. Because of the large amount of growth the company is experiencing, it's very important for managers to on-board well and lead by example. Project Managers who are not performing are still given large projects and responsibility. Project Management leadership in the support organization is non-existent and there is no training; new PM's are just thrown on projects with no guidance. PM's that are struggling are just given different projects. Because so many PM's struggle, entire teams are left to struggle until account goes red.
