Petty work culture and no management - Sample Collection Coordinator Lynx Employee Review

Great management team that is always willing to help out in both personal and professional life. Balancing the 2 can be hard but not here. This job gives you the chance to be yourself while also advancing your career and life. I never saw myself doing sales and marketing but now its all I can see myself doing. I get to talk to people and make money at the same time. It's the best of both worlds for me personally. I would highly recommend the position to anyone looking to plant roots and start a career.

The job as amazing as it is isn't all fun and games. Days are hard sometimes and the goals can be challenging. But aren't all jobs like that?? I have not found a single job that isnt challenging sometimes. But the management training program, team environment and the good days far outweigh the challenging days and goals. Overall in my few months here I have not seen any cons to the job. It is 100% commision but there is a safety net if you don't hit your goals to outweigh that. Because nobody works for free and the management team understands that.

Lynx is a small recruiting firm that tends to hire young people with a strong desire to make a lot of money. They CEO and his business partner have a ton of Recruiting experience and can teach you a lot about the business. This is a great place to learn the Recruitment business (how to cold call, interview, and close deals) BUT you must be willing to work extremely hard. Lynx is much more forgiving than most Recruiting companies if you aren't hitting your numbers and they are willing to try and help you as much as possible before deciding it isn't working out. I think the compensation is in line with most agency recruiting firms on the perm side. If you are an experienced Recruiter who wants to sit down and make money and you don't care about being in a super nice office with fancy stuff, you would certainly like it here.

It is very micro-managed by the CEO but i think that is to be expected with a small company. While the compensation is fairly standard they way it is weighted towards the candidate side is very strange. This is definitely a place for Recruiters who want to learn some of the Biz Dev side of the business but you will definitely be focused mostly on recruiting candidates.
