Pros

Is a good salary, and the hiring process was fast, but only because they have a terrible administration. They do pay what the law says.

Cons

If the client closes the deal, you are out. The clients have every 3 months the opportunity to review if they want to make a bigger or smaller team. Even if you have 5 days, you can start your ramp down. There is no place to keep designers, there no a lot of clients who hire designers at luxoft so if your client decides they need a smaller team, luxoft fires you. The thing with luxoft is that, they pressure you to leave your current job, they offer you a little bit more money, and then after a week of the client decides to close contract (because luxoft is terrible at the contracts with clients) you are fire, so you stay without a job and with a bad CV

Pros

- Nice and respectful culture - The company trusts its employees, no need for a lot bureaucracy when taking days off or sick leave - If you are good, they are going to do anything in their power to keep you

Cons

- Parent DXC company is very strict and outdated, Luxoft systems are very good, but sometimes we need to use DXC systems that are mostly sharepoint and awfully designed Service Now. - After DXC took control, everything is Windows, you are lucky if you get a Mac system, and they hate Linux. You need to sell your soul and get many management and client approvals and exceptions in IT to be able to use Linux. - If is a huge company that serves many clients, so obviously, you are going to have totally different experiences depending on the client you work for
