Pros

I have been working in DBDC ( Deutshe Bank Dedicated Centre) in Luxoft. Each project is different from others so pros an cons highly depend on particular project. In general: - challenging projects, - opportunity to develop your carrier both horizontally and vertically - established processes - education on company base - free coffee in office (was in 2013)

Cons

Cons as pros are depend on project. In general: - some middle managers (project managers and team lead) were not educated how to manage people. Luxoft slowly changing the practice by sending the people on internal courses but sometimes it is not enough - a lot of bureaucracy from DB side (can takes you several months to receive all accounts, passwords, keys etc) - if you are not ambitious will be difficult to grow in both salary and carrier

Pros

- Nice and respectful culture - The company trusts its employees, no need for a lot bureaucracy when taking days off or sick leave - If you are good, they are going to do anything in their power to keep you

Cons

- Parent DXC company is very strict and outdated, Luxoft systems are very good, but sometimes we need to use DXC systems that are mostly sharepoint and awfully designed Service Now. - After DXC took control, everything is Windows, you are lucky if you get a Mac system, and they hate Linux. You need to sell your soul and get many management and client approvals and exceptions in IT to be able to use Linux. - If is a huge company that serves many clients, so obviously, you are going to have totally different experiences depending on the client you work for
