Pros

Pays in USD (although is not a competitive salary)

Cons

All what I’m about to say could be checked with former employees (or even current). This is a company that has ZERO respect for work and life balance. They try to sell as the greatest option because they pay in dollars, but believe me when I say it’s not worth it. You’ll work 24/7 in a toxic environment which probably won’t change with any strategy because the one that creates it is the CEO & founder. They fire people for fun, and make sure that anytime you want to call them out on their mistakes they’ll fire you as soon as they can because the CEO won’t accept that he’s doing something wrong. Besides all of this, I think is very relevant to add that they treat their employees like numbers. Once you start working there, you’re not a human for them and after you leave they’ll keep inventing things to their employees to justify their unfair decisions (they don’t care if it’s a lie, they’ll tell that you’re doing sneaky things, you’re a drug addict or whatever they need to do to make it seem right). I learned a lot though. I’m glad they didn’t burn my talent but definitely would not recommend to anyone. Before getting into this prison call a former employee. Any positive thing that you see here probably was an order from the CEO to the current team, don’t trust that.

Pros

You see a team and company that has improved and grown a ton over the years I’ve been here. The CEO isn’t perfect, but I’ve never met a leader that’s so humble, really listens to his people, and then really pushes himself to get better. It’s been contagious for me. The team has gotten so much better in the last 3 years, and so has the product and quality of clients — and the numbers show that as well.

Cons

The industry is a game where there is often no playbook and you have to be comfortable with the fact that sometimes you’ll do great work with a client and candidate and won’t get the hire. It can be tough to constantly focus on process without a high predictability of how that process will yield results.
