- lots of investment in people and culture with generous and inclusive policies - people come as their authentic selves and are humble and kind - company is backed by very patient capital and can make long-term decisions rather than optimizing for quarterly profits - particularly helpful in the current market environment where other companies are reducing staff and Luno is still hiring
Cons
- crypto industry can be rough in terms of the market cycles and the constant curveballs, e.g. from regulators - lots of ambiguity for the US team as we are figuring out product-market fit and preparing our launch
