Pros

Work was typically easy. Calls and emails same old CS. Hardest part was getting old folks to use the app.

Cons

The management shifted 4 times in my 9 months on this contract. Very poor communication, lies excessively to agents about business tactics and misinforms agents about tasks they revert in two weeks. Almost no forward momentum in their android platform and a failure to bring past promises to fruition. Teams of only two agents for all incoming inqueries. No method to direct calls to HQ for any reason. HQ management never willing to reach out to customers even when requested.

Pros

At first Lumo seems like a great place to work. Everyone is nice, women-run company, stocked kitchen, cool technology. However, you quickly learn how deep politics run with senior management / executive team. Watch out what you say and to whom. You never know who is listening and what the consequences might be. If you're not good at sucking up, you might want to look for employment elsewhere.

Cons

You'll only succeed if you kiss management's butt and never say anything that might be disagreeable. Chinese investors have unrealistic expectations making it difficult to successfully complete projects, etc.
