Pros

The people are the only reason to stick around this company. Everyone is very friendly and outgoing. They are pretty much your second family. The office has recently gotten remodeled and is very comfortable and has surface level upgrades that look very nice.

Cons

1. There seems to be a lack of direction from the top down to the bottom. Upper management has all these ideas and they really give no instruction on how to execute them. These issues cause a lack of cohesion from marketing to sales to support back to the C team. 2. There is a training problem at the company with sales and the CS team. There aren't any consistent training methods being used and that causes new employees to learn as they go and create bad habits. 3. Once you get hired to a position at the company, there really isn't roadmap or plan for growth after awhile. This causes a lot of unhappy workers and negativity in the office. The people who do get promoted do so to positions that they either don't want to do or have no experience in doing. This harkens back to the lack of true leaders at the company. 4. One last thing, there are a lot of promises that are made from the C team that aren't plausible or realistic. This causes a lot of empty hope and a lot more extra work for the day-to-day employees. If you get hired beware what is promised to you because there's a good chance that they won't come true.

Lumistry Response

Thank you for your response. We wish that you would have brought up some of these concerns with your manager or senior leadership during your time at the company, as we may have been able to remedy some of these issues through an open dialogue. However, we hear your concerns and are always working to continually improve our company. Some themes that you mention in your review are extremely valid, and we appreciate your candor. We have seen tremendous growth for our team and are not immune from experiencing growing pains. As a fast-paced startup that is growing exponentially, it can often be hard to stop, organize the game board, and move forward. This is something we will continue to work on as a company when it comes to themes like opportunities for growth, career progression and communication. We only ask for patience, and fierce feedback to your management team, so we can make appropriate adjustments if necessary.

Pros

Lumistry has made meaningful progress over the last several months. Leadership is actively working to break down silos, improve cross-functional collaboration, and create better alignment across teams. There is a noticeable sense of momentum in the business, with new products, partnerships, and initiatives creating optimism about the future.

Cons

there is a lot happening at once. Priorities continue to evolve as the business scales, which can create competing demands on teams. Continued focus on prioritization and communication

Pros

Absolutely 0 pros - don’t trust any of the current leadership or HR replies, Tim the “CEO” is everything but a CEO.

Cons

To put it bluntly, Lumistry is the definition of a rushed and failed product. Endless layoffs over the past 1.5 years. HR department is one business partner, bless her heart - the head of HR and the COO were let go just a couple weeks ago. The full digital marketing team(5+) people were suddenly let go around the same time. Quiet under the rug layoffs without letting other employees know have occurred. Sales team targets small, clueless independent pharmacists that don’t have a single clue what they’re signing up for. More than half of the clients have to break their contracts to even get out of it. Whoever is left is overworked as Tim continues to bring on remote “executives” who I’m sure will end up selling the company. There is absolutely no room for growth within your career at Lumistry. The product has absolutely no room for growth - it never did to begin with. I could go on and on about the slop Tim is running. The Austin office space is about to vanish to go fully remote after waiting months and months to tell employees. There is no money left within the company apart from cutting high end checks and bonuses for the execs. Listen to this review. Listen to the other recent negative reviews. Avoid at all costs!
