Pros
More flexible environment since spin-off from JDSU. Willingness to try new approaches for improving processes. Managers given considerable flexibility in staffing their teams.
Cons
Too much irrelevant goal-setting pushed onto non-managerial personnel interferes with their ability to focus on performing their jobs to the very best of their ability. Goal-setting takes up too much employee time, to the point that they are using non-work hours to do it. That is a sure-fire path to burn-out.
