Pros

Small and dedicated hard working teams.

Cons

The last 2 years at Lumenix have been dreary. Staff is a quarter of the size of what it formerly was, the executive team spends more time on other endeavors and contributes minimally to workplace culture. Managers efforts to help clients are disingenuous resulting in a stressful workplace environment. Morale is low and resources are low. Worst of all, their desperation shines through in their very obvious efforts to create online reviews that are written internally in an effort to mask the negative feedback from current and former employees.

Pros

Some flexibility in roles, you do a lot of things, lot of learning

Cons

I often think back after having left this firm: holy crap that was so insane and inappropriate how they treated employees. I was young and inexperienced when I joined and didn't realize I was being taken advantage of, underpayed, and overworked. Some of them treat employees like they're working in investment banking because of their own backgrounds.

Pros

Good people, but too bad there was so much churn and churn!

Cons

Extremely controlling management team. Since they all have personal stake, they push you like you're working in law... But we're not making lawyer salaries... Pay was not great, raises were not great, bonus structures always unclear. There's no structure to career growth or feedback loops. When you do get feedback, you're hyped up to believe this company will become something incredibly great only to have no promises followed through. If you follow up with HR, then you'll be told off or pushed off. Extremely mismanaged. Also felt discrimination at the firm
