      Not A good place for a fresher developer - a personal experience - Software Engineer Lumen Employee Review

      Pros

      Doesnt seem like an offshore American company;Employees could drop in and leave anytime they like,roam around and shout in their own vernacular or could come wearing the same clothes you slept on the previous night.Only few projects are good and rest are all petty maintenance stuffs that any graduate can do.

      Cons

      Managers are incompetent, and so are team leads because they dont care about the welfare of the employees.They arent friendly either.Appraisals,ratings etc are fully biased and not according to the work done.Your chance of going abroad???Leave your work and get in touch with the right people.

      Pros

      work life balance, excellent time off so long as manager doesn’t micromanage/track and limit FTO, nice people, leadership has turned the business around.

      Cons

      No pay raises even with great performance review (5years with zero raise) No career growth/progression - been on a high-performing team for 5 years and not one person on the team has been progressed or promoted during that time. Little opportunity for career advancement and growth New jobs within the company are going to external hires, not much grwoth for current employees
