Pros
Leadership promotes strong values, salary even though less then industry norm is still above national average and growth in size allows national mobility. CenturyTel and Embarq areas have a more friendly work environment.
Cons
Actions do not live up to promoted values and corporate provides little support for those who do. To be fair they have a very large challenge and it may take years to achieve, Qwest areas still micro managed and use an over abundance of fear and intimidation as motivation,
