Pros

Good culture and people are fantastic.

Cons

Its a pretty bad time to join Lucid sales right now. Quotas were set to 2021 standards and are unattainable. Maybe 5-10% of org will hit quota this year at best. Reps are at mercy of their own books - its essentially the lottery at this point. Lucid has been heavy product led growth and large book size up until very recent when they shrank books significantly. The result you'll have a book of 30-60 accounts with very few established relationships and contacts. You'll be expected to prospect like an SDR with the disadvantage of nit having enough volume to go after.

Pros

- Very strong mentorship program - Very nice people - Some VERY good engineers, PMs, and designers

Cons

- Pay isn't competitive outside of Utah (but hey, at least we're hiring) - Like most other companies at our size, your success and satisfaction largely depend on the team you're on - Sales and product/eng could probably be better aligned to inform product decisions - Like most other SAAS companies, we're investing A LOT into AI. This could bite us in the future (I personally think we're in a bubble, and the consequences of over-investing will be very painful once it bursts)
