Pros

(The few that are left) Teammates are really good people.

Cons

The company was bought by Accruent back in August 2017, and it has been a steady attrition of employees ever since. Expiration of various retention periods for staffers have left an office bereft of life. There's even talk of walling off half of the space and subletting to another company. The heart and soul of Lucernex has been dissolved by the new owners that treat the company as a line item. If you want to work on an entry level salary, there's opportunity for you!

Pros

Extremely fast growing. Second to none with regard to product. Small enough for now that your voice will be heard.

Cons

Not really a con, but be prepared to move fast if you are not used to fast growth.

Pros

As with other reviewers, the employees at the bottom are great! As are most of the first level management team and one, maybe two execs. Lots of talent and sufficient skillset that can carry the company forward. Work from home is great as are all the perks e.g fresh fruit, coffee/tea and a variety of health snacks. Lucernex has a good family; the worker bees get along well. The Chairman - Mike Nuzum

Cons

But there is this uneasiness that originates from the executive team. They've had some issues with managers and execs but fail to address the elephants in the room. To add to these elephant issues, promises and announcements have been made but have fallen flat without explanations. Then to downsize the teams and not the exec or management teams? And abruptlly swap the benefts? This makes people nervous and they vent out frustration. The actions by the exec team is the cause for the lack of trust even though there is an "open door" policy. "Speak your mind and you could be next." This is why the reviews have been tough lately.

Thank you very much for your feedback and honest review. Lucernex is fully committed to maintaining a positive culture and engaged employees, however, we need to know when or how we could do things better and we do not want anyone to feel they may be subject to retribution. If anyone at Lucernex feels there has been retribution or hears about retribution, it should be immediately reported to Human Resources, as that goes against everything our open door policy stands for. We believe employees can and do have great ideas and we want to hear everyone’s ideas, as one of our values is “The best idea wins”. There have been quite a few changes lately, but we try to be as open and transparent about everything that we can be and provide explanations as to why decisions have been made, but there will be situations in regards to employees that we cannot share for the privacy of those employees. As for the reorganization, there are times when companies have to make very tough business decisions to ensure we have the right skill sets to grow the business. These decisions are never taken lightly but are necessary in order to achieve our growth plans. We are currently hiring and will continue to hire throughout 2017.
