      Toxic work environment! Corporate condones the blatant discriminatory actions taken by store managers that lack basic supervisory skills. Managers hiring friends, no advancement for current employees.

      Pros

      Great teams you have the opportunity to work with. Generous benefits and compensation for retail.

      Cons

      Management and HR do not listen nor address significant issues (i.e. racism, sexism, sexual harassment, nepotism, homophobia, etc.). You don't have the opportunity to grow or move up unless you've been with the company for several years regardless of higher education or if they hire an external candidate. Code of Conduct and standard procedures are not followed nor enforced to everyone. Clients can be a nightmare. Overall, I wouldn't have gotten into this if I knew how much stress it would cause me, especially for retail.
