      Small hospital, everyone knows each other, friendly peers, plenty of hours.

      Cons

      Upper administration doesn’t care about employees, financially driven rather than quality care/hcaps, low pay in regard to cost of living.

      The staff are all very friendly and supportive.

      Cons

      It is a small hospital, with alot of responsibilities that fall back on the RN.

      Pros

      Key West has a diverse an amazing patient population. The long time staff (there are few left) are more like family than co-workers.

      Cons

      This is a challenging time for Healthcare in general. The challenges with retaining experienced staff is an issue (and a scary one) that I believe is not exclusive to Lower Keys. Key West additionally has a unique set of challenges related to the cost of living being so high.
