You will spend double the amount of time correcting issues that aren’t yours than you will actually getting to create your design in the first place.
Lowe’s does not have a streamline process to ensure orders are placed accurately or are able to be fixed or adjusted easily if there is an issue. They do not pay for the software or programs needed to be able to ensure orders are placed efficiently and accurately.
Scheduling is also poorly managed. They will have one person covering three departments (even before Covid and unemployment happened) and expect the sales and tasks in each of them to be completed.
The mental and physical health of the employees are the least of their concerns.
People who genuinely care for the well-being of others will not make it in management here or be given the opportunity to move up. You will either become burned out and have a mental breakdown or you will turn into a Vulcan and become solely goal-oriented at the expense of the health and experiences of the people around you.
