Pros

LIIF is working hard on rising to the moment both with BLM and in this pandemic by committing to keeping current staff, providing extra time off, donating to organizations, paying for staff to buy books, etc. Colleagues are friendly and genuinely excited about the work. The vision/mission and commitment to it are strong from the top down.

Cons

Some job instability for positions that are grant-funded, can be tough to see what a path upward looks like.

Pros

High salaries for a nonprofit. Kind coworkers.

Cons

Really inefficient place to work. A lot of middle management and internal politics. Too much focus on high level strategy over results. Very corporate feeling.
