Pros

Loved Dr. Tran! She can be very nitpicky in the start but you need to understand: She is telling you how to do the job correctly!

Cons

If you dont like a boss who breathes down on your neck trying to guide you? Go find another job. Also, she wont let you overtime.

Pros

Great benefits, pay, and experience. All female staff (though arguably can be a con. I mentioned this to employer during my interview as a reason I wanted to work there, and she said it was unintentional. I sort of think young women are easier to emotionally manipulate as they are more likely to tolerate the manipulative behavior she imposes on her employees. Most of the staff is young twenty something girls. )

Cons

Toxic work environment. Dr. Tran is cold and insensitive. She hides it well at first, but make one mistake and she talks down to employees, berates them, gaslights and emotionally manipulates. She does it all with a smile and a soft spoken tone. I quit on the spot after she lost her patience with me. She made comments about my appearance / fingernails all the time, and the other employees expressed that she did the same to them as well. She berated me for making mistakes, asking questions, and advocating for myself. I even professionally and kindly asked her to be nicer to me, to which she responded "I HAVE to be tough on my employees," after I'd just explicitly explained that "tough" is not my learning style. She made me cry, and didn't even seem to care that I was crying at all, she seemed to think the way she was treating me and talking to me was normal, even when I was asking her to stop. If you can tolerate poor treatment for a decent paycheck and good health benefits then maybe this is the job for you. If you prioritize emotional well being, this employer is not a good individual to work with. This employer will make comments about your looks, criticize you for making mistakes and asking questions, will patronize and belittle you by trapping you in interactions that feel like there's no correct answer. Oh also, employer enjoys gossiping about employees to other employees. On like my third day she tried to talk negatively about another employee to me. I quickly changed the subject. So if you do work here, get on her good side! Location is also a con- Polk St area is rough.
