Pros

Work–life balance is very good in some departments; people are usually able to leave on time and are not expected to routinely work extra hours.

Cons

Senior leadership is heavily focused on financial targets and often overlooks people and site-level needs, which can create a disconnect between corporate priorities and day‑to‑day realities at the site.

Pros

6+ hours of break on 12 hour shifts. minimal supervision from leadership. If you have good coworkers, it can be fun.

Cons

Extremely political i.e. if your supervisor doesn't like you for any reason you won't see any kind of progression and it works the opposite way. Communication can be very poor. The kind of leadership you get can vary immensely due to standards not being present nor leaders such as supervisors not being held accountable. As a contractor, pay is pretty low compared to the industry standard.
