Pros

Wonderful people and managers, some of the best coworkers I’ve had.

Cons

That being said, there is no opportunity for growth. People stagnate in manufacturing roles because when employees leave, positions are not back filled. Qualified internal candidates are passed over for outside hires. It’s well known the best way to actually get promoted is to leave and come back in a different position.

Pros

6+ hours of break on 12 hour shifts. minimal supervision from leadership. If you have good coworkers, it can be fun.

Cons

Extremely political i.e. if your supervisor doesn't like you for any reason you won't see any kind of progression and it works the opposite way. Communication can be very poor. The kind of leadership you get can vary immensely due to standards not being present nor leaders such as supervisors not being held accountable. As a contractor, pay is pretty low compared to the industry standard.
