Pros
I have been working at Longhorn since 2016 as a patient coordinator and can easily say it has been the most rewarding and work/life balanced job I have had yet! I work 3, 12 hour shifts a week and have 4 days off in a row! When I started with Longhorn, the company was just starting out. We had 3 locations and a small, hard working team of under 20 employees. We currently have 5 locations and easily over 50 employees! During the years management has been great with taking the time to hear our concerns and ideas to help improve the business. I even had the chance to move up in the company!
Cons
With any business that expands, we have felt some growing pains with learning how to accommodate the higher volume of patients. Also staffing has been hard since Covid started, but we are actively improving our company structure, have an outside consultant to assist in creating a better work flow, and have promoted employees from within the company to help with the expansion.
