Great Company, Great Culture - Business Analyst Longbow Advantage Employee Review

Pros

Great team dynamic, even with those on different projects. There are no limits to what you can learn, an open tool box is available to learn as many aspects of the business as you would like and then leadership has no problems putting you in a position to apply those concepts to gain valuable experience. If you are a self-motived person you will find opportunites come to more quickly.

Cons

If you are not self-motivated you may find yourself off to a slower start than those who are.

Pros

The technical challenges were interesting, especially during high-pressure go-live periods Opportunity to work hands-on with WMS and trace diagnostics under tight timelines

Cons

-Compensation offer was lowered at the last minute from what was initially discussed -Leadership lacked clarity and transparency about long-term role expectations. -Culture favors insiders — difficult for new hires to gain traction without a sponsor -Abrupt decisions made without performance context -Role expectations shifted after joining, with minimal communication or support -Team structure lacked clear onboarding, making it difficult to integrate quickly -Company over-relies on a handful of internal voices, leaving others without a real seat at the table -Strategic planning seemed reactive, not proactive — especially during client escalations. -Decisions impacting employment were made without transparency or feedback loops
